Why O Why do these articles imply that Netflix is not available on PS3?
a one off purchase of Play On of only $40 enables the ps3 to access Netflix, Hulu, CBS and many others infact we save $70 a month as we canceled cable and get all our shows via hulu.
Through my browser I can access a site dedicated to the greatest car show ever Top Gear.
So please tell me how the 360 even compares ...pmsl

O dear panic over I have playon on my ps3...so I get netflix minus the live subscription and hulu too all for a one time payment for playon.
It does make laugh how so much bs is spread...all the options like netflix, facebook etc are availble to ps3 owners via browser ...

I got it friday and had a blast on it, could easily be modded levels in unreal which is no bad thing. For $10 (a sixth of the price of a full game) it delivers a fair bit of mindless fun action. But I guess if your expecting the next killzone or call of duty for your $10 then you will be disappointed.
I however will be enjoying a cheap and cheerful frag fest far more than some dlc I have purchased for full games in the past...lol

It would be a sad day for gaming if Sony gave up making hardware, what joy to have the 360 or wii has my only choice. I'm pretty confident a new hobby would be needed.

I must be buying the wrong games cause the way these installs are reported here you would think all ps3 games required it which is not the case at all infact only a hand full that i have played required install then usually optional such as ut3.
On the flip side my 320gb pimped ps3 ain't going to be worried anyway but hey keep trying to make out everything is negative for ps3.

With 3 current gaming platforms in production Sony are the leading player in the games industry. If you support Microsoft get over it.
Way back when I first owned my PS2 I thought the ability to play my old PS1 games was amazing, I now realize I didn't play any of them I was to busy playing PS2 games!.

When levels like The Matrix by wexford or 1 of the other 300,000 or so user generated levels have been created in LBP I don't hink it has much to be worried about.

Maybe you are correct but no offense if you are old enough to be able to purchase games like gears would you really want those kiddie avartars? Microsoft imo really doesn't know where to really find it's place, I always felt Microsoft was hardcore especially as its biggest franchises where Halo and Gears but know they chase the casual market in this way. Sony as imo always been about diversity with equal amounts of hardcore and family friendly titles being provided.

Surely Home is a social network application that is available free and accessed through the XMB which is the interface that you use to go to store, web browser etc. I don't need to go to home in order to enter video store or go to PSN game store. I fail to see how NXE and Home can even be compared they are not the damn same thing and don't try to be.

I loved vice city and san andreas so rushed out to buy this dull game. Exchanged it within 48 hours for Heavenly Sword which was obviously a flop and poor game according to the unbiased game press and loved every second of it. Paying extra to have to play this imo overhyped piece of **** is more like a punishment than gaming delight.
I dropped $500 on this sweet machine and I love the gaming experience it has delivered for nearly 2 years, but at the price the ps3 is far and above just a gaming machine and I want every multi media that sony can dream up. This one will get some in my house that's for sure.
